Ducks

An distinct advantage for bird photography is a sea kayak, capable of handling moderate seas, moving at a quick pace, and putting the photographer in less traveled photo-ops while eye-level to birds. All but one of the duck images shown here were taken from a kayak, many in waterways where the birds are acclimated to people traveling by kayak or canoe.
