A joy of sea kayaking is paddling coastal environments rich in life, and mammals that live in the sea are particularly fascinating. Many of the images here were captured from the seat of a kayak; for some of the Alaska and Baja images, I was aboard a kayak mothership, the Ursa Major or Home Shore.
