Olympic National Park is the most ecologically diverse Park in America. Contained in its borders are an ocean coast where Sea Otters frolic, a temperate rainforest home to some of the world’s largest trees, a heavily-glaciated Mt. Olympus and other glacier peaks, sub-alpine meadows resplendent with wildflowers, a dry east side in rainshadow. Encompassing much of the Olympic Penninsula, it’s four times larger than Mt. Rainier NP.
